Tasting:

Chilled before drinking. Clear, oat straw color. Aromas of quince, yellow apple, lemon, honeysuckle blossoms and wet rocks. Smooth, fresh and zesty mouthfeel, medium body and a 200-grit texture. Robust flavors of lemon, Bartlett pear, fresh baked bread and just the slightest hints of tropical fruit all with an underlying salty mineral taste. Wonderful edgy acidity and a long mineral finish you could almost chew. WOW what a classic white Burgundy and so lively and refreshing. The mineral core really takes center-stage at mid-palate and continues all the way through the lingering aftertaste. The delightful combination succulent pear, tangy lemon acidity and invigorating mineral really make the wine distinctive. The wine with the lightly seared tuna is was absolutely stellar…both the wine and the fish were greatly improved with the pairing. This was “Our Kind of Chardonnay” and we loved it…But, the punchline is it’s a FANTASTIC VALUE too. In fact this is probably one the the best value Chardonnays we have had in a long while. It’s an absolute steal!!!
