Tasting:

Chilled before opening. Clear, very dark oat straw color. Quite strong aromas of sweet spices, citrus, green apple and feathery floral. A little edge on entry and an off dry mouthfeel, medium body and a 100-grit texture. Tart lemon, ripe apple and just a touch of mineral flavors. Good fresh acidity that takes a minute to really show its true character, followed by a very long tart fruit finish that goes on and on through a sweet spicy aftertaste. Very unusual off-dry white wine that was aromatic, flavorful and surprisingly fresh for its weight. This was a wine you had to sip for a while before you could say if you liked or disliked it. Excellent paired with the omelet and interesting sipping without food. Every sip exposed additional tastes and we were both disappointed when we finished the last pour. Unusual, but VERY NICE white blend that was priced way below its value.
