Tasting:

He said: Chilled before drinking. Clear, very pale salmon color. Intoxicating damp earth and strawberry aromas. Polished medium-light body, lots of fruit flavor (strawberry with hints of cherry). A dry finish that’s filled with fresh acidity and a tiny bit of spice. Fantastic, and as it warmed it was even better. One of the Best value Rosé’s we have had in a long time. Perfectly balanced, smooth as silk, vibrant & refreshing and packed with flavor. Another OUTSTANDING wine from Massaya (see also our review of Massaya Blanc 2014). This is one FANTASTIC Rosé value!!!

She said: Pale salmon color, slightly cloudy, a few irregularly spaced rapidly moving legs. With a pleasant cherry aroma and flavor the wine filled the mouth with a smooth creamy feel and the finish was long and dry. Although the cheese was delicious it neither enhanced the wine nor was enhanced by it. The wine was delicious sipped alone and a great bargain at only $13.50.
