Tasting:

He said: Chilled before opening. Salmon color. Light damp earth, melon and red fruit aromas. Strong gripping smokey tart taste that ends in a very slight bitterness. Lots of crisp acidity, slightly creamy and the damp earth aromas continue through the taste all the way to the very end. GREAT Rosé . We are really getting into Rosé and this one is near the top of the list. Delicious food-friendly Rosé I would recommend in a flash.

She said: The light fragrance led into a flavorful taste that had a touch of grapefruit towards the end and lasted into the finish. Crisp and almost creamy it went very well with the turkey but was overwhelmed by the sausage dressing (I guess the peas stand alone). Moral of the story tonight: have more than one wine for a turkey dinner (and don’t worry about the peas)!

Comments: We first had this wine at a Caviste Wine Shop wine pairing dinner. It was paired with grilled octopus that was delicious and a GREAT pairing.
