Tasting:

He said: Opened 30-minutes before drinking. Dark garnet color with a light rim. Fruity aroma with hints of wet leather, damp wood and floral. Mouth filling taste of slightly tart and spicy dark fruit and a powerful finish with dry fruit flavors, slightly gripping tannins and a great balance of acidity. WOW, wonderful Spanish red…it has intensity yet is very approachable and delicious. At this price point it gets a strong recommendation from me. A very nice Spanish red that’s priced well.

She said: Dark red ruby color, opaque, lots of close steadily moving legs. Mild but deep aroma that does not knock you over but is totally delightful. The dark fruity flavors are enhanced by smoothness, a weighty body, modest but pleasant tannins and a long tasty finish. The wine was delicious with every part of the dinner and I would buy it again and recommend it at $17.
