Tasting:

Opened 90-minutes before drinking. Clear, dark ruby color with a light reddish color rim. Dry hay, cherry and blackberry aromas. Soft entry with a fresh, dry and dusty mouthfeel, medium body and a 200-grit texture. Lots of damp earth, cherry, blackberry and chocolate flavors with strong herbal tastes all intertwined together. Fresh acidity and fine grain tannins that come alive in the long smoky finish. WOW,WOW,WOW, this is really outstanding Tempranillo. Gobs of flavors, fresh and vibrant body, fabulous well balanced finish and more refined than typical Rioja. VERY charismatic Rioja that’s WAY UNDERVALUED.
