Tasting:

He said: Opened and recorked for 24 hours. Clear, VERY dark garnet color. Ripe fruit and leather aromas. Dry (mouth puckering), red fruit with hints of cherry taste. Very long, slightly bitter, fruity finish. GREAT Chianti Classico!!! VERY nice bouquet for Chianti; delicious, abundant flavors in the taste; and a long dry finish that goes perfectly with the red bolognese sauce. Super Chianti Classico that’s a GREAT value for the price.

She said: With a touch of ripe red cherries and a hint of floral in the aroma the wine creates a smooth slightly fruity flavor on the palate. The sensation is relatively light bodied with silky tannins and wonderful dryness that last into a long finish. The wine was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS with the lamb and salad and I strongly recommend it.
