Pared With: Chicken Marsala, garlic pasta, green beans

Tasting:

He said: Dark purple/red color. Very, very light floral bouquet with hints of leather. Lite, dry, fruit taste that continues into a very slightly spicy, medium length finish. With almost no bouquet and lacking in flavor it was disappointing at this price. This sounded like a real winner from the write-up at wine store, good rating and characteristics. It did improve over the course of the meal and I will open the next bottle well before drinking it; and pare it with a more traditional meat dish.

She said: Thin horsey bouquet followed by a very little flavor, medium bodied, dry, with medium firm tannins that persist into the finish. Not a delicious wine and not worth $18.00
