Tasting:

Opened one hour before drinking. Clear, light ruby color with the same color rim. Robust damp earth with hints of barnyard, cherry and dry hay aromas. Smooth entry, concentrated, bold and savory mouthfeel, medium body and a 100-grit texture. Cherry, cranberry, and a hard rock mineral flavors. Very enjoyable medium acidity, fine grained, but prevalent tannins and a long earthy fruit tasting finish. Fantastic aroma and flavors dominated by earthy tastes. Quite a bold Pinot Noir that was delicious with and without food. This was a wine we call a special find. It stands out from the wines we usually drink AND it’s a fantastic bargain price for its quality. We drink quite a lot of Pinot Noir, from both California and Burgundy, but this one jumps right out…it was a wine that seduces you, WE CALLED IT MEMORABLE and it’s one of the first wines to get a TastedOnline.com Gold Star Recommendation!!!
