Tasting:

Opened one hour before drinking. Clear, dark ruby color with a slightly red rim. Saturated aromas of current, blackberry, mushrooms and sweet spices with hints of chocolate. Very smooth, svelt and appealing mouthfeel, medium body and a 200-grit texture. Lots of cranberry and blackberry fruit flavors intertwined with a mineral taste. Crisp acidity, refined tannins that had a subtle grip and a long fruit and mushroom tasting finish that ended with mouth-coating, dusty tannins and a licorice note. WOW, this was suave Pinot Noir that was easy drinking and delicious with or without food. Very aromatic, accentuated flavors and impressive balance. It was MEMORABLE red burgundy!!!
