Tasting:

He said: Opened one hour before drinking (Screw cap). Clear, very nice dark ruby color with a lighter rim. Light cherry and blackberry aroma with strong waves of alcohol on every pour. Light to medium body with mild undistinguishable fruit taste, sweet spiciness and soft tannins. A short finish that leaves a burning in the back of the throat and ends with a dry, yeasty after-taste. We had this at a resent wine tasting dinner and we selected this one as the “best” wine and the only one we bought. At home with the roasted pork it was, at best, just OK and clearly not a wine I would recommend or buy again.

She said: Dark ruby red color, clear with lots of thin irregularly spaced fast-moving legs. The aroma tends toward a sharp alcohol experience with a touch of fruit that was followed by a mild flavor, light body and mercifully short finish. The wine was dry and had soft tannins, but a funky aftertaste emerges and lingers. It was okay with the dinner, but at this price point I would look around for a better Pinot Noir.
