Chateau Bois Redon Bordeaux Superieur 2009 (2nd Tasting)

Recommendation: OK Bordeaux that’s a good buy for $10.

Paired With: Grilled chicken, dill potato salad and broccoli.

Tasting:

He said: Clear, medium-dark ruby color with a light rim. Light fruit aromas with lots of alcohol. Fresh fruit taste that goes into a very dry medium-length finish. Actually I don’t think I’m as positive about this tasting as I was the first time. At $10 it’s “at best” only OK, I didn’t get the easy drinking leather we had with the first tasting and it’s right at the edge of a recommended wine even at this price. In the end I would not buy this again, but would say it’s a readily available Bordeaux and a pretty good buy at the $10 price point.
