Tasting:

He said: Opened 30-minutes before drinking. Dark garnet color with a light purple rim. POWERFUL damp earth aromas with hints of leather and dark fruit. Lively plum, ripe current and cherry taste that finishes long, dry and fruity. FANTASTIC BOUQUET (in bold caps) lots of flavor with just a tad of tartness and zestful acidity…outstanding red wine at a BARGAIN Price. It paired very well with the chicken Marsala and was “out-of-this-world ” with Asiago cheese. This was a super treat and a GREAT value!!!

She said: Let the first pour rest for five minutes to let the scent of the alcohol disperse but after that watch out because the aroma is seductive. With a damp earth scent
the wine wound itself around the flavors of the the chicken Marsala as we ate. The fruity flavors and hefty body of the wine went well with the dinner and were measurably enhanced by the addition of Asiago cheese at the end of the dinner. I would buy this again in a flash because it was a dynamite wine and a big bargain at $13.50.
