Tasting:

He said: Chilled before drinking. Clear, with a glycerin-silver sparkle, light golden color with a tiny green tint. Citrus, Granny Smith apple and tropical fruit aromas with hints of floral. Smooth as silk, medium-body with crisp, dry, lively acidity; strong lemon and ripe honeydew melon taste that ends with a slightly tart grassy flavor and lots and lots of mineral in the very long finish. Double WOW, excellent pairing with the lemon poached chicken, but equally delicious sipping alone after the dinner. GREAT Pouilly Fumé…it was powerful yet soft and subtle. At only $15.79 it’s a SUPER value. Two thumbs up for me on this one!!!

She said: Clear, light greenish yellow color. From the start to finish there was lots of aroma that had hints of both grass and citrus. The mouth feel was medium-bodied with the supple touch of creaminess, although pleasantly dry. The finish was long and had a hint of tartness at the very end. Excellent wine with the dinner and it was an EXCELLENT VALUE at $15.79
