Tasting:

He said: Very light wheat straw color. Light citrus aromas with floral hints. Refreshing crisp citrus and Granny Smith apple taste that is slightly creamy, and a finish with tart citrus and mineral. Very delicious Italian white that is loaded with character and is OUTSTANDING mid-palate through the finish. Good with the crab soup and very easy drinking when sipping alone.

She said: We always check out the discount bin in our favorite wine store and have never been disappointed. This Soave is no exception. Although it is not a bargain it was an outstanding wine. Short in aroma it was crisp at first taste and pleased the palate with a light body and creamy flavor that ended with a delicious finish heightened by a tad of tartness at the very end. There are many good wines available in the $20 price range and this is one of them.
