Tasting:

He said: Chilled before opening. Very light oat straw color. Strong citrus and lime aromas with just a tad of floral. Crisp, dry, (citrus and green apple) fruit taste with lots of zest and mineral in the finish. It’s VERY mellow and delicious with magnificent acidity. I also give it two thumbs up for the wonderful crisp tartness from the mid-palate through the the finish. It is absolutely a fantastic pairing with the shaved fennel salad. The flavors of the fennel, fresh lemon-thyme and fresh lemon juice in the salad are in PERFECT harmony with the wine. An OUTSTANDING wine and it’s a bargain price!!!

She said: I have always wondered what the “nectar of the gods” is like and this may be it, or at least similar. Think smooth, flavorful and touched by sunshine and you have identified this wine. We had it with a shaved fennel salad and is was divine. The floral bouquet led to a gentle flow of softness over the tongue and a long lasting finish. Although not dirt cheap it is a bargain wine and I would buy it again in a flash.
