Tasting:

Chilled before drinking. Clear, very light oat straw color. A WOW bouquet of lemon zest, ripe honeydew melon and a mass honeysuckle blossoms. Silky with a dry slight salty mineral mouthfeel, light to medium body and a 200-grit texture. Unpretentious earthy flavors of lemon, green apple, melon and mineral. Fresh and crisp, but the acidity appeared only light to medium. The finish was long almost buttery with lots of mineral and lemon that went on and on. This was a WOW, WOW, WOW white wine!!! The aromatics were beguiling and really set the stage for the captivating flavors to come. The unique rarity of the wine with its subtle acidity and complexity resulted in a very tantalizing white wine. This was our second bottle of this wine and when we first tasted it we easily recognized that it was very special. We called it a unique and audacious Italian white wine that’s oozing with character.
