Tasting:

He said: Clear brownish-red color. Strong fruit and oak aromas. Dry fruit taste with hints of oak, leather and earth. Medium-length dry finish. This was GREAT with the strong garlic/basil taste of the chicken. Although this was served at room temperature (not the 62o – 64o F. recommended on the label), it did soften over the course of the meal. Greek wine is unusual for us so this was a VERY nice surprise. An excellent buy and a wine I would seek out to purchase again. Without question this is the BEST Greek wine we have ever had!!!

She said: To be totally honest we chose this wine for our dinner because we wanted to drink a red wine and I had not prepared accordingly. That being said the wine was delicious with the dinner but even better afterward when we were sipping. The first sniff had hints of alcohol but the second was more fragrant. The tannins were immediately obvious so I knew that I would ultimately enjoy the wine at least a little. As it turned out, I loved it. Without a huge flavor or big body, this wine was dry and had subtle earth flavors that lasted into the medium long finish with nice tannins. Yum. As I sipped I became even fonder of what this wonderful wine had to offer. A delicious wine at under $15.
