Tasting:
He said: Dark ruby red color. Nice blackberry bouquet. Strong dry berry and cherry taste with hints of leather and damp earth, that goes into a medium/long finish. This is robust, and delicious but we have had better Syrah and less cost
She said: Strong berry aroma and flavor fading into a medium finish with medium soft tannins. Dry with no hint of sweetness and medium body. Taste especially complementary to fish, potato, and cake. Delicious wine but at $48, better Syrah is available at less cost.
Comments: We tasted this at the vineyard and we thought it was the best wine they had; however, it was not outstanding when we had it with dinner.
