Tasting:

He said: Opened three hours before drinking. Cloudy, dirty purple/red color with a lighter rim. Woody and red fruit aroma. Amazing dry, dusty, and juicy cherry, plum and raspberry taste with a grippy tannic finish. This wine had a unique character even though it had a strong fruit backbone. This was the New World wine everyone at our Pinot Noir wine/dinner liked best (see our review of Domaine Chevilloné Nuits-Saint-Georges Les Roncieres 1er Cru 2013 for the best liked Old World wine). Almost everyone thought this was an Old World wine with its clean silky texture and dusty mineral in the delicious fruit finish. It was an EXCELLENT Oregon Pinot Noir.

She said: Cloudy, dark garnet red color with the irregularly spaced quickly moving legs. Mild juicy fruit and woodsy aromas were followed by a strong fruit flavor. Dry, very smooth mouth-feel with medium body and a long finish that had lots of juicy flavor and supple tannins that kick in towards the end of the finish. It was a very delicious wine.
