Tasting:

He said: Opened 30-minutes before drinking. Clear, beautiful light ruby color with a tint of red in the rim. Lots of cherry, raspberry and wet wood aromas. Very SMOOTH mouth-feel; dry, cherry and just-cooked rhubarb taste with an extended dry flavorful finish. If I had to describe this wine in a few words I would say it was a “perfect” every-day Italian red wine. Very refined (no rustic characteristics), FANTASTIC flavors (from the first sniff to the last sip), zesty acidity and absolutely a delicious pairing with Italian red sauce. It gets two thumbs up from me. It’s simply an outstanding Italian red!!!

She said: Almost opaque, ruby red with lots of evenly spaced rapidly moving legs. The light musty aroma had hints of red berry that blossomed in the mouth with a medium body, the wine was smooth, dry and had firm tannins. The long finish continued both the flavor and the tannins and this wine was absolutely wonderful with the dinner. Although to pricey to be put in our bargain category, I recommended it and would buy it again in a flash!
