Tasting:

He said: Opened one hour before drinking. Clear, rich ruby red color with the same color rim. Musty damp earth, cherry and fresh cut sawdust aromas with hints of wet rocks. Smooth, medium body; ripe cherry and raspberry taste that gets very dry at mid-palate and continues all the way through the long finish. Absolute GREAT Beaujolais and at only $14.40 it’s a FANTASTIC value!!! An OUTSTANDING mouthwatering combination of aromas, clean tastes, fresh acidity and soft tannins. I thought it went well with the dinner and held its own even with the tzatziki sauce. If your in the market for a GREAT $14 Beaujolais reach out for this one…you will not be disappointed.

She said: Ruby red, lots of thin well moving legs. Great musty aroma mixed with a red fruitiness that blossomed in the mouth. The light body was complemented by soft acidity, mellow tannins and a dry mouth-feel, all of which lasted into the long finish. The wine was slightly overwhelmed by the dinner and was much better sipping. A delicious wine and a bargain at $14.40.
