Tasting:

He said: Redish-brown, slightly opaque color. Very strong damp earth and leather aromas. Intense dry, red fruit and cherry taste that carries right through the smooth medium-long finish. GREAT Chianti and PERFECT with the strong Parmesan cheese and garlic flavored dinner. The bouquet was MEMORABLE and the dry spicy fruit flavors were outstanding with the garlic/Parmesan taste. For only $11.20 it was a bargain wine in spades and should be every wine lovers “House Chianti”!!!

She said: What a great wine for this dinner. And, to think it came out of the bargain bin at The Caviste. The leathery aromas that persisted into the taste made me purr with delight as I savored the dinner. The dryness, medium body, and medium finish were an excellent complement to the dinner, but frankly it was the leathery aroma an flavor that made me love the wine. I enjoyed it from the first sniff to the very last taste.
