Tasting:

Opened one hour before drinking. Crystal clear, light ruby color with the same color rim. Damp earth, spicy cherry, strawberry and fresh green California Wonder peppers aromas with tiny hints of fresh cut cedar. Smooth, juicy, spicy and savory mouthfeel, medium body and a 150-grit texture. Overflowing with FRESH cherry, strawberry and raspberry flavors with a trace of licorice. Just the right amount of bright acidity, integrated tannins that slowly develop a considerable grip and a long spicy strawberry finish. WOW, WOW the smooth spicy taste was very delicious and the overflowing freshness really separated it out as a tasty, easy drinking Cab Franc. Everything was in perfect balance, yet the spicy background determines what you most remember about the wine. This was EASY DRINKING wine that should appeal to almost any wine drinker. We recommend buying two bottles because one will not be enough…it disappears very easily!!!
