Tasting:

He said: Opened one hour before drinking. Clear, dark Ruby color with the same color rim. Mild woody, plum and blackberry aromas. Powerful, robust body, concentrated dark fruit flavors, smooth as silk, dry, dry, dry, supple tannins and a long luscious finish. This was a true WOW, WOW wine, distinctive aromas, pure captivating flavors, velvety, and did I say DRY? Incredibly “New World” character, but very exhilarating!!! Simply OUTSTANDING Grenache that’s an FANTASTIC value.

She said: Slightly opaque, dark ruby red color with lots of thin regularly spaced, rapidly moving legs. Great aroma, fantastic fruity flavor and smooth silky mouth feel…what more can you expect? Low price? You get it with this one at under $15. Another Matt Bayless, from the Woodland Hills Wine Company, “Best-Buy-in-the-Store” recommendations. It was an outstanding wine with its fruity flavors, pleasing tannins and long flavorful finish. This is one of those wines that you can enjoy in a little sips for hours. Fabulous wine, good with food as well as alone.
