Tasting:

He said: Chilled before opening. Crystal clear, very pale yellow color. Quite strong citrus and grapefruit aromas. Succulent, dry taste with overtones of honeysuckle. A fairly long finish that combines tart and sweet flavors very well. Not bad Bordeaux white.

She said: The first sniff and taste reminded me of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc yet it was different; softer, but with the same prominent grapefruit flavor and a touch of tartness in the long finish. Light bodied, slightly acid and medium dry, it went well with the salad and passable with the lasagna. The biggest problem was that the red sauce on the lasagna was disappointing because it was pasty and tasted like canned tomato soup and the wine was chosen for the garlic in the food but none was to be found.
