Tasting:

Chilled before drinking. Clear quite dark oat straw color. Very light daffodil blossoms, apricot, peach and citrus aromas. Smooth, dry, slightly oily and creamy mouthfeel, medium body and a 200-grit texture. Sumptuous flavors of ripe Bartlett pear, lemon and peach with notes of ginger and honey. Crisp acidity, but not as much as expected and a long nutty finish that had persistent bitterness. WOW, what a refined white wine. It was luxuriant, delicious and easy drinking. Not the “Special” wine we expected, but a VERY refined and elegant white wine we thoroughly enjoyed.
