Purchased From: Australian Wine Centre; 1 Alfred Street; Sydney, Australia.
Paired With: (Lunch) Shellfish chowder. Turkey ruben sandwich with thousand island dressing, french fries and coleslaw.
Tasting:

She said: Clear lemon yellow color with well spaced legs that ere not on the fast track. The aroma was mild but had distinct scents of earth and barnyard. The experience in the mouth was mild flavored, dry and very smooth with a long finish that ended well and reflected all the good mellow overtones that were abounding. This wine was a good pairing with the seafood soup, but I would like to have it again and find a pairing that would do it justice. Great wine, not a good pairing with the ruben sandwich. A buy-again wine that was very easy drinking.
Comments: 1. Purchased in a Sidney, Australia wine shop and consumed in the Britannia Restaurant on board the Cunard Queen Mary 2.
2. Probably the best Australian Sauvignon Blanc we had on our visit to Australia.
