Tasting:
Chilled before drinking. WOW aromas of floral, peach and green apples. Very fresh and lively, almost effervescent mouthfeel, light to medium body and a 100-grit texture. Strong flavors of tart lemon, lime, ripe Granny Smith apples and licorice. Gobs of delicious edgy acidity and a long slightly bitter California grapefruit tasting finish with a slight mineral aftertaste. Very pleasant Clairette Blanche with a striking bouquet from start to finish. The robust aromas were worth the price of the wine. The minute we pulled the cork we knew we were in for a treat. The aftertaste was a little disappointing; however, by the last pour we both said it was really quite delicious and if you like strong wine aromas try this and you will not be dissapointed.
