He said: Nice Zinfandel. Clear dark red color. Strong berry bouquet. Dry, robust black berry taste that continues through a medium long finish. Tannins were strong but the wine was very flavorful. Pretty good at $16.40. Second tasting: Light fruity bouquet with noticeable alcohol flavor, robust ripe berry taste that stays through the finish.
She said: Sweet berry bouquet, medium body, dry, rich flavor with no harshness and long slow finish. Second tasting: Only a mild aroma.
