Wine tasted on S4C n 1 Larsson Andreas Young and quite closed, some hint of almond, white pear and grapefruit. A spicy, citrus peel bitterness on the palate, fresh acidity, quite long on end.
Pennequin Hervé Pale yellow green. Discreet nose of grain, rye with touch of yeast and fermentation, almost sulfur on end. Crisp acidity, but lacks elegance and sulfur disturbs the finish. Dagorn Roger Vibrant yellow. Stone fruit aromas on slightly reticent, but elegant nose. Dry, full palate with fresh acidity, refreshing in mouth, lengthy finish with lemony touch. Beautiful color, elegant bouquet, crisp, fresh, lemony finish. Very nice wine.
Slater Mark Brilliant, yellow gold. Sweet, round fruit, slight harshness on finish. Acidity is out of balance, but the wine is well structured and needs to accompany food. Deep fruit with acidity creeping in on end. Laporte Dominique Pale gold, green reflections. Closed nose, yet some elegant aromas of white fruit and flowers upon aeration. Very dry and crisp palate, slightly hard with firm acidity, but long persistence and medium bodied, quite well balanced wine. Attractive and enjoyable.
