Hervé Pennequin C - Almost black. N - Very dense, smoky aromas, leather, black fruits with spices, bouquet very promising, creating expectancy for continued quality. P - Rich, mouth filling acidity, somewhat aggressive, unbalanced, finish short, too acid, step down from the bouquet.
Andreas Larsson C - Clear, very dense ruby. N - Dark fruits, prunes, tobacco and leather, intense and complex bouquet. P - Full bodied, nice, modern fruit expression,some hints of oak and vanilla, very rich, smooth and sweet, quiet long. “For big steaks!”
Teresa Perez C - Clean, brilliant, high density,intense Bigarreau cherry red. N - Intense, jammy fruit aromas, cherry compote, cooked and dried figs, hint of cacao and tobacco, fine quality, attractive elegance, aromatic to end. P - Very well fruited body, fresh with slightly drying tannins, but good potential, lovely cooked cherry aftertaste, fine quality and good balance, attractive palate, long and persistent.
Yoichi Sato C - Very dark, dense, black red. N - Well concentrated, black fruit, quite marked spicy notes, rich and alcoholic,nice quality, strong intensity. P - Generous, round, attractive acidity and fine notes of cacao and spice, hint of attractive astringency, well concentrated body and flavors, good quality, nicely balanced, long persistence.
Virginia Philip C - High viscosity, opaque.
N - Dark and black fruit notes, cinnamon,cloves, new French oak, some “terroir”tones, American oak?, rather powerful oak, moderate quality, moderate + intensity.P - Ripe, dark fruits, new oak,chocolate, some mineral notes, moderate quality, juicy fruit candy fl avors, well balanced,long persistence. Nothing special,but well made.
