CABERNET SAUVIGNON
2003 Vintage - BLIND TASTED in March 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon
|
Hervé Pennequin made from 97% cabernet Sauvignon, remaining being 1% of each, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cabernet Franc, the wine aged for 20 months in 50% new oak (of which half is USAn and half is French). The color is medium dark ruby with purple hues. The aromas of black fruits with tones of raspberry, blueberry have almost some licorice in the finish with black pepper and light spices of vanilla. The palate shows elegance with smooth tannins.
