C - Black purple, very dense. N - Intense chocolate aroma, jammy, black cherry, spices, cinnamon, vanilla, cloves, flowery notes of violets, blueberry. Very extracted bouquet, full intensity. P - Huge character of very ripe black fruits, tannins very condensed with nice acidity all along, fine flavor quality, very well balanced components, very long finish with cacao and minty notes.

C - Opaque, super viscous, inky black. N - Extra chocolaty, red fruits, very good aromatic expression, very intense. P - Typical Napa, quite muscular, mouthful of tannins, fruit cannot balance tannic content, great length though. Undoubtedly great wine, but needs plenty of time.

C - Intense purple. N - Dense bouquet, very dark fruits, cherries, leather, almonds and oak. P - Very full, marked tannins, fresh with dark cherry fruit, very tannic. Big !

C - Clean, brilliant, intense black Whiteheart cherry. N - Black, jammy fruit, redcurrant marmalade, lactic notes. Ample with hints of black pepper and fresh bakery aromas. Fine quality, very nice intensity. P - Powerful attack, full bodied with very well charged in fruit. Noble tannins, refined potential, but as yet not completely integrated. Finely absorbed and blended elements, very good finish.

C - Quite clear, dense, very dark and deep garnet, nuances of black. N - Tar, rubber, very concentrated, chocolate, vanilla, average aromas, very nice intensity. P - Clean attack, plenty of tannins, but nicely integrated, very agreeable in the mouth, good flavors, fair balance, good, long finish. Typical Californian, austere tannins, but very agreeable.
Giuseppe Vaccarini
C - Quite clear, dense, profound ruby. N - Vinous, hint alcoholic, wood notes, concentrated fruit aromas, fine intensity. P - Full bodied, acidity and alcohol quite present, very tannic, modest flavor expression and limited balance, yet good finish. Too young and too tannic at present.
