The 1998 Maya shows a rich, intense red ruby color with small legs and light brown rim variations. The nose is juicy, rich of cherry and kirsch. On the palate, the wine shows high level of tannins, racy with a velvety texture in the end. The wine has a long persistence in the finish and may gain in elegance through the next 4-5 years.

Andreas Larsson
Also a beautiful example with dark fruit, spices and great structure, it doesn't have the same nuances and elegance as above but still a great wine.
