Very dark red purple - Nose of ham, smoky spices and cacao - Rich and dense, high tannins, a touch bitter at the end, dry finish, acidity high - Rich, intense texture, but the oak is too much and lacks elegance.

Very deep purple - Slightly volatile, but nice and compact fruit, dark plums, tobacco and spices - Very big and structured, rich and sweet fruit, long finish - Slightly volatile, but good structure.
