C - Like black ink with purple hues. N - Highly toasted liquorice, very high tones of jammy cherry, blackcurrant, blueberry. Roasted coffee beans. Intense and lingering bouquet. P - Intense, black fruit extraction. Alcohol quite high, great balance of components, very racy and intense wood tannins. Very long finish.

C - Super viscous, opaque appearance. N - Super charged bouquet, vanilla, butterscotch, mint, very fine aromatic and quality expression, super intense. P - Nicely restrained attack, great quality in the mouth, hard tannins and heat take over, yet very fine balance. Incredible length and nice persistence. Very high quality, needs time to tame tannins.

C - Black !. N - Quite elegant nose despite the concentration, aromas of blackcurrants, dark cherries, spices and minerals. P - Very big massive tannins, nice black fruit, fresh and very long. Young and dense as well as tannic. Decant before serving. Nice material !

P - Powerful, full bodied, generous, attractive volume in the mouth. Very fine quality, fruit charged flavors and noble tannins, ready to mellow, refine and integrate over time, final reminiscent hint of jammy fragrances. Terrific balance and long, lingering, persistent finish !

C - Clear and dense, very dark and deep garnet, very black hues. N - Very densely concentrated aromas, chocolate liqueur, figs, blackcurrant, cacao, average quality expression, very powerful intensity. P - Bitter presence, very agreeable wood expression, nicely dense flavors, quite good quality, very well balanced, long finish. Good structure and lovely thread of bitterness.

C - Quite clear, dense, very profound ruby, verging on black. N - Wood notes, spice, concentrated fruit, nice bouquet, good intensity. P - Full bodied, very tannic, good flavors, nicely balanced, quite long, hint of astringency. Quite hard and tannic at present, but still very young.
