C - Very deep red purple. N - Rose flower, very ripe black cherry, freshly brewed coffee aromas, vanilla. P - Lightly toasted coffee beans, great earthiness, firms tannins, wood, spices - cloves, cinnamon. Relatively short finish. Too much wood.

C - Clear, dense, good looking. N - Disappointment - strong tannins bouquet, fairly intense. P - Nice fruit, average quality, some balance, tannic finish, yet good length. Totally dried out.

C - Dark ruby. N - Dark cherries, spices and herbs. P - Very tannic, nice fruit, green tannins, long finish.

C - Clean, brilliant, intense cherry red. N - Jammy fruit, prunes, chocolate, pepper, cloves and hints of violets, very good quality aromatic expression, full and deep intensity. P - Powerful, huge body, very tannic, in fact extremely tannic, destroying all else in its way. A pity to not live up to such a fine bouquet.

C - Brilliant, dense, ruby, dark and deep garnet. N - Red flowers - peony, rosehip, wild rose, wood concentration, hint of mint, restrained expression, but fine intensity. P - Intense attack, tannins are astringent, barrel flavors DOMAINEinate the flavors and limit balance, yet long, but powerful finish.
Giuseppe Vaccarini
C - Very profound ruby. N - Fruited and slightly volatile, some intensity. P - Full bodied, but astringent and over tannic. Very hard in the mouth with quite powerful acidity. Disagreeable finish.
