Hervé Pennequin C - Intense red, ruby edge, slightly evolved, deep core. N - Intense notes of black truffle, with fresh roasted coffee beans, lacks finesse. P - In the mouth rich black fruit, dried flower leaves, firm tannins, with vivacious acidity, chocolate tones with light bitterness.
Mark Slater C - Satisfactory, beautiful, blood red. N - Nicely scented with old leather, very fine aromatic expression, forward, quite intense and interesting. P - Delicate fruit, very dry, very good quality flavors, firm structure, good balance, medium persistence. Slightly light weight, showing little depth.
Andreas Larsson C - Medium ruby. N - Developed and mature spices, dried cherries, slightly closed. P - Very massive tannins, although ripe dried fruit, good length, very long persistence.
Teresa Perez C - Clean, brilliant, clear red cherry. N - Ripe fruit, lingering reduction aromas, slightly dirty, low intensity. P - Suave attack, quite good volume and amplitude, but very astringent and totally unbalanced. Short.
Motohiro Okoshi C - Dense, average, black garnet, orange rim. P - Leather, dried fig, very spicy, dried blackcurrant, slightly closed, very good aromas, complex and intense. P - Well fleshed, round, quite ripe tannins, allusion of ripeness of grapes, concentrated fruit with spice, good quality flavors, acidity well blended, very well balanced, long and persistent finish.
Giuseppe Vaccarini C - Clean, consistent, ruby garnet. N - Fruited, hint of volatile acidity, quite nice aromas, good intensity. P - Full bodied, tannic, wood flavors, bitter, moderately elegant, quite nice quality flavors, balanced, medium long persistence. Average.
