Chilled before drinking. Clear, oat straw color. Strong green apple, pineapple, lemon and smoke aromas. Smooth entry, lots of body and a slightly creamy texture. Ripe apple and apricot with hints of smoke and citrus flavors that always seem to end with a touch of cinnamon. Strong tart mid-palate taste and long flavorful finish. Somewhat bracing and chalky acidity and VERY FLAVORFUL, dry, tart and oaky on the silky, mineral tasting finish. WOW this was GREAT White Burgundy that’s WAY UNDERVALUED…it drinks like a wine that costs twice the price we paid. Get ready for surprise after surprise as the wine warms up and you experience all its ambiance…it just rolls along growing like a snowball. Drink slowly and hold it in your mouth so you appreciate all it has to offer. WONDERFUL Chardonnay, LOTS of character and an absolute steal for the price. If we bought wine by the case this would be at the top of our shopping list.
